The band have also revealed an accompanying video for the track which truly captures what this collective is about. Taking to the streets to hold guerilla style parties, riding through London on a flatbed truck and bringing their own brand of disorganised fun.
The single follows on from their debut track ‘What’s my Name’ (“it sounds like a hot summers day” Clara Amfo – Radio 1) which achieved plays at Radio 1, Beats 1 and 1Xtra where it was championed by Mistajam. The collective are back with their latest offering ‘Best I Ever Had’ which is a reggae infused track, possessing distinctive head Fed Dennis Bovell’s musicality and influences.

The collective’s main players are known for shaping the careers of Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo, The Slits, Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna, Stormzy, WSTRN, Labyrinth, Bugzy Malone, Lady Leshurr, The Prodigy and Ed Sheeran.
Lucan Mills burgeoning career has already seen him rap with Ed Sheeran as well as supporting huge names in the genre such as Tinie Tempah, G Unit, Skepta and JME. He’s even shared Ibiza stages with Chipmunk and N Dubz.

US rapper and musician takes aim at the UK on February 9th
A New York based hip hop artist with a contemporary sound reminiscent of Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown and Mac Miller, UNIQUE is a young musician and rapper who is ready to make an impact in the UK with his new single and three track EP.
The EP, is a strong introduction to the vocal and writing talents of the young artist, gives you a very good idea of why this music is already winning the respect of the likes of 50 Cent and Raheem Devaughn in UNIQUE’s native USA.
The lead single from the EP is ‘Love Me’, which you can hear here:
A self-taught musician who plays drums and guitar as well as writing and rapping, UNIQUE is marking himself out from the rest of the pack with his youthful exuberance and an obvious love for what he is doing. He recently took part in a US college tour and won fans along the way with his relatable lyrics of young love, youth culture and more. UNIQUE’s talents don’t end with his musical skills. The maverick is also a talented dancer, performing as part the Battle Fest dance league.
His captivating live shows continue to turn heads, while an ear for comedy and a nice line in celeb impressions give him an extra dimension as a performer too. This multi-talented approach stands him in good stead for an assault on the UK music industry – this is one artist who is truly charismatic and, well, unique.
Hailing from East London and the creator of gritty dance pop tracks, Daniel David is no stranger to music industry success. He was part of an urban music group with none other than Labrinth, Daniel has played huge stages, such as the Radio 1 Big Weekender in front of 70,000 people, as well as winning an Urban Music Award for Best Video and being nominated for a MOBO – losing out only to JLS.
Now working on a solo career, his new single ‘Me an U’ is a bass heavy, infectious tune inspired by a chance meeting with Cheryl Cole in London’s exclusive ‘The Box’ nightclub. At the time, the singer was going through her high profile issues with ex-husband Ashley Cole, and the song was written as an offer of escape
You can hear the single here:
Daniel David is an artist who continues to build a reputation amongst his peers and the music fans, particularly in London. Amongst those voicing their support for his work you will find the likes of Plan B, Professor Green and Paul Young, not to mention aforementioned band mate Labrinth.
It’s a growing reputation that stands him in excellent stead going forward, particularly if he continues to release high quality tracks with great production like ‘Me an U’.
Daniel is also an artist who takes seriously the development of young talent in the music industry, having started a label called Eagle Rush Global to help give younger people a chance in the industry as well as create in imprint for his own work.
It’s this kind of attitude and work ethic that is likely to see Daniel David to the top of his game.
